Yung Joc and Jibbs have signed on to take part in the Scream Tour 5 concert tour, it’s a pretty new concept but the tour will be definately slanted towards teenagers this year.
The tour has just recently finished its planning phase and should be kicking off with a November 22nd show in Miami, Florida and 17 shows later will end with a bang on New Year’s Eve in Washington, DC with a crazy end of the year bash.
This year is the tour’s 5th run and is being called the “Ruff & Read, Young & Sexy” tour, word has already leaked that Omarion and Ne-Yo will be performing as headlining acts with Mario, Pretty Ricky, Sammie and One Chance also taking up supporting roles throughout the tour. Also new this year Jeff Sharp, of Atlanta Worldwide Touring, will be organizing the event and Michael Mauldin of Mauldin Brand Agency will be putting on the producers hat.
“The Scream Tour is the most successful teen concert series America has ever witnessed,” Mauldin said in a prepared statement. “For five years, it has always been synonymous with being the launching pad for the next big ‘young star.’ As in times past, we know that this year’s line-up will have an overwhelming response from crowds across the country as we continue the Scream Tour legacy and give our fans a Christmas gift they will not forget, until we do it again next year.”
